Todd Meerdink joined Shady Lane in 1993. Todd understands and articulates Shady Lane’s values across the entire care continuum when giving tours advising potential residents, and presenting to other groups. His leadership and vision continues to keep Shady Lane at the forefront of caring for the needs of the senior population of Manitowoc County. Todd attended Northwestern College in Iowa where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics. 

Michelle Stockton serves as Shady Lane’s Admissions Coordinator. She’s responsible for developing the census by cultivating relationships with potential residents and their families with appropriate information and assistance. She focuses on discovering potential resident’s motivational needs. Michelle partners with team members to ensure high levels on internal and external satisfaction. 

As Human Resources Coordinator, Krysta Huibregste possesses expertise in our recruitment process, employee benefits and records, payroll, and managing all policies and procedures from her many years at Shady Lane. Krysta keeps up to date with the latest HR trends and practices thanks to her Associate Degree in Human Resource Administration. She also holds a Technical Diploma as a Health Unit Coordinator.

Deanne Weier is Shady Lane’s Campus Clinical Director/Director of Nursing. In addition to overseeing the nursing staff, she is responsible for quality assurance, infection prevention, and staff education. Deanne earned her Associates Degree from Lakeshore Technical College

Tara Reyes, as the Director of Environmental Services, leads housekeeping, laundry, janitorial, and maintenance staff. She ensures departmental operations are performed in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, Shady Lane’s policies and procedures. Tara keeps Shady Lane safe, clean and in an attractive manner

Kasandra Paider, our Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for the financial health of Shady Lane by creating and implementing financial policies to guarantee operational efficiency. Kasandra is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration Degree and is a Certified Public Accountant. 

Kirstie Berger is our Social Worker designee and assists with all facets of social services, including assessments, care plans, and discharge planning, serving as a link between community resources and the residents of Shady Lane. As our enrichment coordinator, Kirstie implements activity programming for the campus, incorporating all 6 elements of wellness, while leading her valued team. She has worked in healthcare for over 16 years and has a passion for helping and ensuring a fulfilling life for all residents. 

Becky provides meal plans and coaching for residents with food allergies, sensitivities, and food-related disorders while overseeing all meals to ensure they meet appropriate nutritional standards.

Becky provides support services for the long-term and rehab residents in our skilled nursing. She facilitates and maintains contact with the preadmissions process while coordinating internal communications. Becky has a hand in preventing outbreaks or epidemics in the facility, with commendable outcomes.
