How to Apply
Become a CNA
Employees of Shady Lane, Inc. who are interested in becoming a CNA have the opportunity to become certified for free! Students who take the course as an employee of Shady Lane will have their course fees (class/test) paid. In return, the student will agree to a 1-year work partnership with Shady Lane. Students taking the course through other providers or on their own are responsible for the fees.
Students are provided with opportunities to learn and practice all the skills necessary to provide care to our residents, including assisting with dressing, bathing, grooming, personal care, meals and more! This specialized training provides opportunities for those interested in health care to learn in a real-world environment. You must be at least 16 to take the class.
Volunteers
People volunteer for a number of different reasons, ranging from a desire to help others to learning new skills. At Shady Lane, one of the most common reasons we hear is that someone offered a helping hand when they needed it and now they are ready to give back.
