Become a CNA

We offer classes onsite through partnership with Quality CNA Training. Classroom and hands-on training are provided right here at Shady Lane. The instructors are experienced nurses and have a passion for education and health care. Students are provided with opportunities to learn and practice all the skills necessary to provide care to our residents, including assisting with dressing, bathing, grooming, personal cares, meals and more! Our classroom provides opportunities for those interested in health care to learn in a real-world environment. You must be at least 16 to take the class.

Students that take the course as an employee of Shady Lane will have their class time paid, along with all fees and the test. In return, the student will agree to work at Shady Lane for the next year. Students taking the course through other providers or on their own are responsible for the fees.

This class provides an excellent opportunity to gain skills and knowledge to become a caregiver. Contact our Director of Nursing at dweier@shadylaneinc.com to join our team and see how rewarding a career in long term care can be!

Volunteers

People volunteer for a number of different reasons, ranging from a desire to help others to learning new skills. At Shady Lane, one of the most common reasons we hear is that someone offered a helping hand when they needed it and now they are ready to give back.
