Sandra Hardrath’s background in the insurance industry for nearly 50 years adds expertise to the Board. Mrs Hardrath, now retired, continues to serve the community as the Board Secretary for Ascend Services, serves on the Finance Committee for St Francis of Assisi Parish along with volunteering frequently at Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center.

Jeremy Sehloff, Manager at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital, and a trustee of the Manitowoc Calumet County Library System, has been a resident of Manitowoc County since 1993. Jeremy holds an Associate Degree from the University of Wisconsin Manitowoc Center and a Business Management degree with a Mathematics minor from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay.

David Less brings Shady Lane his extensive background in planning, business financing, and development. For 27 years he was Manitowoc’s City Planner. He is a Certified Economic Development Professional through the National Development Council. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Northern Illinois University in De Kalb and a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago Circle. In 2014, the EDC of Manitowoc County selected him as Economic Accelerator of the Year.

Matthew Neu is an Accountant and Senior Manager with Hawkins, Ash CPAs. He holds a BBA in Accounting and Marketing from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. A Manitowoc resident since 1999, Mr. Neu also serves on the Manitowoc County Historical Society Board and the Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra Board.

Ms. Avci was the Associate Dean of Nursing for Lakeshore Technical College, Cleveland WI. This position included managing the Associate Degree and Practical Nursing Programs. Prior to that she was a Nursing Instructor at the college in the area of acute care. Ms. Avci’s experience also includes being the Nurse Director of the medical unit at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc. Ms. Avci’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and a Master’s Degree in Nursing in Adult Health and Administration from Marquette University in Milwaukee.

Dayna Goetz, MSN/RN, is a Homecare Case Manager with Advocate Aurora Health. Dayna’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Human services from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Creighton University, and a Master of Nursing from Grand Canyon University.

Monica Nichter is a retired healthcare executive, serving most recently as the Executive Director of Primary Care for Froedtert Holy Family Memorial. She is an experienced leader in strategy, program growth, operations and human capital development. She has worked at Affinity Health Services (now Ascension Wisconsin), Radiology Associates of the Fox Valley and Network Health Plan. Monica has extensive Board of Director experience, serving on local, national and international boards. An alumna of University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Amy is the CEO of Fricke Printing Service Inc. She is a graduate of Roncalli High School and graduate of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business & Communication and Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
Amy has been involved in the Manitowoc community for over thirty years by serving on the following boards: The Capitol Civic Centre, The Hope House, YMCA, and the Rahr-West Art Museum Governing Board where she served as president for the last twelve years and served as Treasurer for the Friends of the Manitowoc Fire Department Board.

Amy currently serves as Vice President of the Rahr-West Art Museum Foundation, President of the Manitowoc Library Foundation, Chairperson for the Roncalli Fine Art Association, and board of directors for Community First Credit Union. She is President of the Friends of the Manitowoc Aquatic Center board and led a three-phase capital campaign to build and expand the Aquatic Center complex in Manitowoc.

Heather, MSOTR, CLT is an Occupational Therapist Case Manager with Advocate Aurora Health. Heather’s educational background includes both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from UW-Milwaukee in Occupational Science. She is a certified lymphedema therapist.  Heather has 17 years as an Occupational Therapist in Manitowoc County with experience in both nursing home and home care settings.

Mary has lived in Manitowoc County since 1980. She is a retired physician who worked at the Manitowoc Clinic for 15 years and then as a hospitalist for Holy Family Memorial network for 21 years. She has served several organizations including multiple committees at Holy Family Memorial, Endowment Committee of Roncalli High School and volunteer at Notre Dame School of Milwaukee. Mary’s educational background includes an undergraduate from Grinnell College in Iowa, Master’s Degree in Education from Stanford University and Doctor of Medicine from the University of Missouri. 

Chris Herzog is a community member with multiple past and present board and committee positions.  As President of A.C.E. Building Service, Inc. Chris brings over twenty years of experience in the construction industry to the board as well as practical business experience.  He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville.

Jody has lived in Manitowoc since 1997 when he moved to be employed with the Manitowoc Fire Department. He was also employed in Milwaukee by Flight for Life as a flight paramedic, and officially retired in 2020. His volunteer experiences are with the Manitowoc Youth Hockey Association, Duck’s Unlimited, the Wisconsin Dept. of Natural Resources and The Gathering Food Pantry in Milwaukee. Jody has a Bachelor’s Degree in education from UW- Eau Claire, an Associate Degree in paramedic medicine, and a near complete Bachelor’s Degree in Fire and Safety Engineering.

Katherine Reynolds

Ms. O’Leary is the sole proprietor of Lakeshore Computer Tutors, LLC, which she started after retiring as the Staff Trainer and a Continuing Education instructor at Lakeshore Technical College. Karen grew up in Manitowoc and is a graduate of the public school system. She received an Associate in Arts degree from Cottey College in Nevada, MO and a Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Karen lived in the Twin Cities for many years working in the financial industry managing a mutual fund transfer agency. Her work there gave her opportunities to learn software applications from the beginning and learning about computer networking from the creators. She decided to move to Madison to be closer to family and spent years being a network administrator for a large law firm. Karen accepted a position to train staff at Lakeshore Technical College which returned her to Manitowoc. She is very pleased to be a member of the Shady Lane Board as she believes in the organization and the quality of care that is given to its residents.

Katherine is a partner in the law firm of Michael Best & Friedrich, LLP. Her practice concentrates primarily on wealth planning, trusts and estates, and local government law.  She is a member of her firm’s Wealth Planning Practice Group with a focus on Elder Law.  She has held a leadership position in her law firm by serving as the Chair of the firm’s Elder and Disability Law Focus Group and as the Manitowoc office representative of the firm’s Community Outreach Committee.  Her community activities include serving as Chairperson of the Manitowoc County Ethics Board and serving on the board of directors of the Van der Brohe Arboretum and as member and secretary of the Finance Council of St. Francis of Assisi Parish.    Ms. Reynolds received her Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Indiana. She received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Wisconsin. Ms. Reynolds is a member of the American Bar Association and State Bar of Wisconsin.
