These people set us apart from most: they are local leaders who serve on our Board of Directors and help guide our principles and keep us in touch with the needs of the community. To them we are very grateful. 

Monica Nichter

Stanley A. Johnson

Monica Nichter is the Director of Revenue Integrity and Payor Contracting for Holy Family Hospital in Manitowoc. She has worked with Network Health Plan, Affinity Health Services, and other organizations related to insurance and practice management. An alumna of University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. 

Sandra Hardrath’s background in the insurance industry adds valuable expertise to the board. Ms. Hardrath is a Senior Account Executive at Ansay & Associates where she is a Certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Professional Insurance Agent. She is a member of Independent Insurance Agents of Wisconsin, the Professional Insurance Agents of Wisconsin, Progress Lakeshore, and the Manitowoc Home Builders Association.

President of A.C.E. Building Services Inc., Stanley Johnson was born in Rockford, Illinois, and has lived in rural Manitowoc County since 1994. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison and holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering.

David Less brings Shady Lane his extensive background in planning, business financing, and development. For twenty – seven years he was Manitowoc’s City Planner. He is a Certified Economic Development Professions through the National Development Council. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Northern Illinois University in De Kalb and a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago Circle. In 2014, the EDC of Manitowoc County selected him as Economic Accelerator of the Year.

Tina Prigge is a dynamic, creative professional with her background in teaching, design, and branding. Tina, along with her husband/partner and fellow creative Jason, owns Vagabond Creative Studios. She designs and creates creative content to share their message. Tina holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from DePaul University in Chicago. 

Matthew Neu is an accountant and senior manager with Hawkins, Ash CPAs. He holds a BBA in accounting and marketing from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. A Manitowoc resident for the past eighteen years, Mr. Neu also serves on the boards of the YMCA, the Manitowoc County Historical Society, and Newton Youth Sports.

Mary has lived in Manitowoc County since 1980. She is a retired physician who worked at the Manitowoc Clinic for 15 years and then as a hospitalist for Holy Family Memorial network for 21 years. She has served several organizations including multiple committees at Holy Family Memorial, Endowment Committee of Roncalli High School and volunteer at Notre Dame School of Milwaukee. In addition to once again becoming a board member of Shady Lane, Mary is currently serving on the board of Silver Lake College. Mary’s educational background includes an undergraduate from Grinnell College in Iowa, Master’s Degree in Education from Stanford University and Doctor of Medicine from the University of Missouri. 

Jeremy Sehloff, a financial representative for Thrivent Financial, is a trustee of the Manitowoc Calumet County Library System, a member of Sail, the Noon Rotary, and the Two Rivers Business Association. A thirty – year resident of Manitowoc County, he holds an Associate Degree from the University of Wisconsin Manitowoc Center and a business management degree with a mathematics minor from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay. 

Katherine is a partner in the law firm of Michael Best & Friedrich, LLP. She has held a leadership position in her law firm by serving as the Chair of the firm’s Elder and Disability Law Focus Group and as the Manitowoc office representative of the firm’s Community Outreach Committee. Ms. Reynolds received her Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Indiana. She received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Wisconsin. Ms. Reynolds is a member of the American Bar Association and State Bar of Wisconsin.

Nancy Musial is a Senior Human Resources Professional. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. 

Kay is a retired Associate Dean of Nursing for Lakeshore Technical College. She has clinical experience in medical – surgical and critical care nursing and was also an Instructor – Associate Degree Nursing for Lakeshore Technical College. Kay’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and a Masters Degree in Nursing in Adult Health and Administration from Marquette University.

Dayna, MSN/RN, is a Hospice Case Manager with Advocate Aurora Health. Dayna’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Human services from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing from Creighton University, and a Master of Nursing from Grand Canyon University.

Jody Neilson

Jody has lived in Manitowoc since 1997 when he moved to be employed with the Manitowoc Fire Department. He was also employed in Milwaukee by Flight for Life as a flight paramedic, and officially retired in 2020. His volunteer experiences are with the Manitowoc Youth Hockey Association, Duck’s Unlimited, the Wisconsin Dept. of Natural Resources and The Gathering Food Pantry in Milwaukee. Jody has a Bachelor’s Degree in education from UW- Eau Claire, an Associate Degree in paramedic medicine, and a near complete Bachelor’s Degree in Fire and Safety Engineering. 

Sue was born and raised in Green Bay, and has lived in the Manitowoc area since the 1970s. She worked as a COTA, and had left to raise her three daughters. Sue’s nursing career began as a student at Bellin College of Nursing, and she graduated with honors. She started nursing at HFMMC, followed Dr. Barylark to AMCMC and retired in 2020.
