What better way to wrap up an amazing Fair Week than with a Carnival right here at Shady Lane! Our residents enjoyed an afternoon filled with games, delicious treats, plenty of laughs, and so many wonderful memories.
We had a little bit of everything:
Ring Toss
Balloon Pop
Bean Bag Toss
Fortune Teller Water Balloon Toss (the staff may have have enjoyed this more than the residents!)
Ping Pong Ball Toss to win a “Goldfish”
Pick-a-Duck
Snow Cones
An amazing Ice Cream Social provided by AMVETS
And, of course, some special furry visitors!
A huge THANK YOU to the Manitowoc Humane Society for bringing some furry friends and Amvets for providing the ice cream!
We also want to give a BIG shout-out to all of our Shady Lane staff who helped organize, set up, run the games, serve the food, and make this carnival so special for our residents. It takes a team to make an event like this happen, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you!
And a special thank you to Basil the Magician for putting on such a fantastic show! Our residents had a great time watching the magic and enjoying plenty of laughs.
Fair Week may be wrapping up, but the memories will last a lifetime!
Thank you to everyone who helped make this week so much fun for our residents. We’re already looking forward to the next adventure!
