National Stress Awareness Month
April is National Stress Awareness Month, and for most of us, stress is unavoidable. Lucky for us, there are many ways to prevent and manage it.
- Exercise – Exercise promotes the release of feel-good endorphins in the brain, leading to feelings of happiness. Something as simple as a 10 minute walk can reduce stress and having you feeling refreshed.
- Deep breathing – Take a moment out of your day to just breath. Find a quiet place and breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
- Do something for yourself – Spend some time with your family and friends, laughing and enjoying each others company.
