Hospice Services in the Nursing Home & Assisted Living

There are several common misconceptions about hospice and its purpose. Many people believe hospice is only for the last few days or weeks of life; however, hospice care is designed to improve the quality of life and help the patient and their families make the most of the time that’s left. An early admission to hospice helps the patient and family get the full benefits of hospice services, including emotional support and family services that can ease those final months of life.
HomeCare Health Services & Hospice will be at Shady Lane on January 16th at 3:30pm and at 6:00pm to explore this often confusing topic of how these services are administrated. They will address frequently asked questions and misconceptions, explain how not to lose out on Medicare entitlement opportunities you may be leaving behind, and to obtain the knowledge you need now or may need in the future to capitalize on this program.
This presentation is open to the community. We encourage anyone out there that would like more information on the topic of Hospice to come to our facility and listen to experts in the field.
