HomeCare Health Services & Hospice

Rehab at Shady Lane has contracted with HomeCare Health Services as a provider of physical, occupational, and speech therapies. Our commitment has always been to provide the best care at the most efficient cost, a philosophy we have in common. Lynn Seidl Babcock, RN/BSN Administrator, says the company, founded in 1974, is the first licensed home care agency in the State of Wisconsin.
Wound care is a specialty of both Rehab at Shady Lane and HomeCare Health Services. Rehab at Shady Lane’s Smart Healing Program is designed to promote healing through diet and has a wound care nurse on staff. The goal-centered program strongly relies on a collaboration among the physician, the therapists, and the client. It aligns with HomeCare Health Services’ wound care focus which has earned them a 97.4% rating from Medicare. In addition to working with Rehab at Shady Lane, Laurel Grove Assisted Living and Shady Lane Skilled Nursing residents benefit from Home Care Health’s Services.
HomeCare Health Services is staffed by dedicated, experienced therapists. Because the client-therapist relationship is important to a continuity of care, the added advantage for Rehab at Shady Lane clients is the ability to continue working with their therapist after they leave Rehab at Shady Lane. In addition, HomeCare can also provide non-medical services at home with services such as, bath-aides, home companions and housekeepers.
As a collaborative effort, both Rehab at Shady Lane and HomeCare Health Services have the same goal – to have the best therapy department in the area.
